The situation of animals, particularly in the southern regions of Europe is consistently terrifying. This is why, over and over again, committed animal lovers set up private facilities and devote themselves to the oppressed animals. flexi wish to support this selfless dedication.

Since 2004, we supply help for the “Canil de Sao Francisco Assis” at the Portuguese Algarve. The animal home which has already been opened in 1983 near Loulé is managed with a lot of enthusiasm by the German Lieselotte (”Lilo”) Clauberg-Kranendonk. Despite all her commitment, Lilo Claudenberg-Kranendonk still needs financial aid from animal lovers around the world. 

With our help, for example, it was possible in 2006 to conduct the overdue reconstruction of the animal shelter Loulé and to pay a good deal of the debts to food suppliers, craftsmen, staff and veterinarians.

Despite this help, the financially weak sanctuary still requires constant support: Many kennels are in poor condition, electricity and wastewater systems are ailing. There is still a lot to be done at the animal shelter in Loulé. We sincerely hope to be able to improve the situation of the animals step by step in the coming months and years.
