flexi-Sailing-Team
Contemporary issue from "flexi"

The
“flexi“ finished also the 2nd leg of the Italian Platu25 circuit 2009 on the podium. At the championship estuary of Punta Ala, the team finished third, just marginally behind the Japanese BROS-Team and the winning team BRERA Hotels from Italy. The
“flexi” therewith still heads the overall standings of the ternary Italian-Tour. On July 16th, 2009 the Italian championship starts at Monopoli/Bari and the
“flexi” again intends to be a factor front and centre. Further images, reports and final results are available under:

Meanwhile about 60 teams from around the world have registered for the world championships end of September in Punta Ala and even more are being expected. The
flexi sailing team will already arrive in Punta Ala on September 23, 2009 in order to prepare even more efficiently before the starter’s gun is fired off for the first competition of the world championship 2009 on September 29th.
"Cast off!"
The flexi brand represents a combination of safety and security –
and not just
on land. On water too we have adopted the same motto. "flexi" is the name
given to our regatta ship, a Platu25. And since the year 2000 watchword for the crew of this ultra-rapid yacht has been "Cast off!".

The
flexi team puts to sea for the Norddeutscher Regatta-verein (NRV) [North
German Regatta Society] and the Hamburger Segelclub (HSC) [Hamburg Sailing
Club], and since 2000 has taken part in numerous regattas in Germany and abroad,
with considerable success.
In 2008,
"flexi" has made a novelty: The
flexi crew has conquered position 1 and 2 in the German ranking 2008. This ranking refers to the steersman of the relevant teams. First place for
"flexi" with the runner-up World Champion title and Niklas as the steersman and second place for the
"flexi" with the German Championship and Bernhard at the rudder. This is an outstanding performance and no other team ever achieved this in the Platu25. So
"flexi" is currently the most successful Platu25-Team in Germany and, after the successful defence of the runner-up world champion tittle, second best Platu25-team in the world. So have a look at the ranking by visiting:
